Strange coloured marans chick

Hello everyone,

I recently hatched out some black/blue/splash marans chicks and I have one oddball.

It has all three colours of down and is starting to feather out in a (I guess?) splash pattern. I was always under the assumption that splash chicks are a solid light colour at hatch and don’t develop the splash feathering until they feather out? Maybe this is totally normal and I just haven’t seen it before.

Wait until the real experts chime in, but I'd think the white head spot means it carries barring, so splash barred chick would be my guess. Fun colors!
