Strange egg

I know that strange eggs are common but I’ve never had any crazy abnormalities. However this morning I found this egg in with my silkie who is currently raising a few chicks. This is her first egg since becoming broody so it’s been a while. The egg is hard, but there is a strange tail(?) on it that is flexible.
Should I worry?

Most likely just a minor glitch as she gears up for production.
