Ok, I will now tell of a very strange encounter, but you have to tell about one of yours alright?
When I was 3 yrs old, my sister and I were playing with carnival beads in my grandmother's master bedroom. My sister was a little more than a 1yr old.
There were a few broken strings that spilled out onto the floor and my sister picked up one of the beads and climbed onto my back and tried most fervantly to place the bead into my left ear canal.
She succeeded in doing so but the strange thing is I had no rememberance of the act until several years later.
Periodically, over the yrs, I could see us in the room as if I were a spirit or having some type of out of body experience looking into the room from overhead, and seeing the incident clearly as it played out.
I don't remember when I told my Mom for the first time of this, but I was probably around 8 yrs old.
She of course thought I was making this entire thing up, but I was insistent that it did indeed occur.
Finally, to shut me up once and for all, my Mom took me to the doctor, all the while cussing me under her breath, I'm certain.
I was 9 yrs old at the time and remember sitting in a chair & the doctor telling me that the strange looking metal, spiraling instrument in his hand would be placed into my ear and that it might hurt a little.
All the while my Mom is awaiting the outcome of this preposterous event, chomping at the bit 'til the doc says "nothing there" in her mind picking out which type switch she was going to teach my overactive imagination a lesson with.
Would you know it the doc inserts the instrument, retrieves it and there plain as day was a carnival bead, surrounded by a decent bit of ear wax.
The grin on my 9yr old face must have been huge and of course I must have said "I told you so Mom!"
For years afterwards we would tell the story and of course the "bead" was brought out as proof to the story, as it was kept in a medicine vial.
So, there is one of my strange happenings, how about one of yours?
