Hi everyone,
I have a 3 year old, male, golden pheasant named Ocious. Ocious is very tame, calm and friendly...He eats out of my hand and lets me stroke him if he's in a fussy mood! He's a lovely boy, well looked after (spoilt actually!) and he seems very happy.
The only unusual thing about Ocious is that he doesn't live with any other pheasants and his best friend is a bantam rooster
My rooster and pheasant adore each other. They both sit on top of the chicken coop and crow together! Since Ocious grew his beautiful, long tail and can no longer fit inside the chicken coop, both the rooster and pheasant sleep snuggled together on the same tree branch in the aviary every night!
Do you think I should get some females for Ocious or do you think he's ok as he is?
