Strange Plumage?

Hello!

I'm wondering if anyone has any idea of what could be happening to Saltine, one of my pekins. Over the past week or so, his stomach has turned a sort of yellowish color and looks almost jagged. It goes from the base of his neck to his butt on the underside. There's also been a lot of feathers in the pen and in the water where he bathes. I can see a few feathers fly away when he flaps his wings in the morning and they're stuck to his beak when he preens. I can get pictures tomorrow if necessary. The other two ducks don't look like him, and it has me worried. Maybe I'm overreacting and it's just him molting or something, but I just wanted to check with some other duck owners/experts to make sure! I just want my ducks to be happy and healthy!

i was going to ask the same question a few months ago. I think we are seeing the same thing

I figured mabye it was from sitting in wet dirt but it whent away as his feathers came in

It does look a little like that, just lighter and more spread out around his tummy. Maybe it is just from sitting in the dirt. He is a little overweight, so he might spend more time sitting than the other ducks.
