I have a weird pullet...I bought a batch of straight run Ideal layer crosses from the local feed and seed in February, and they've grown up great, except for one very strange chick. She appears to be a pullet in that she has no comb or wattles at all. S/he challenges the cockerels. She has green legs, where the rest of my Ideals have yellow legs. She is also about half the size of my regular pullets, roosts up with my bantams, and she appears to be trying to mount other chickens. What the hell did they send me?

Do you have a picture you can post? Did you order them through the local feed and seed?

Feathersite has pics of chicks so you might be able to find out what yours are. Scroll to the bottom of the pages on the breed links and there will be the pics of the chicks.
