We have a batch of random Bantams from the feed store. All of them are doing well and are 4 weeks old now.

One chick though has some weird feathers growing in. This one has some extra stringy and fluffy feathers. It kind of looks like its feathers are hair.

I don’t know what type of Bantam it is but it’s also polydactyl.

Any help?

Admittedly, I'm not an expert
But with it being a bantam from a store, I'd say Silkie. (Or Silkie cross)

They have dark skin, extra toes, and their feathers don't have the "barbs" that keep feathers in that...feather shape.
