The chick pipped about last night it made no progress since then. I chipped away some shell and saw a thick white membrane I wet the membrane and it looked transparent but when I was chipping away shell there was blood what do I do

They can be pipped for 24 hours before starting to zip and then hatch. Seeing blood means the chick is not ready to hatch. They need to absorb all that blood and the yolk before they hatch. That's why they just pip a hole in the shell so they can get enough oxygen while they absorb everything.

Leave the egg in the incubator and keep your humidity high, at least 65%.

Good luck :fl

I finally helped her when I realized she actually drying in the egg all the yolk was absorbed she's doing fine now
