Hi all,
I’m new around here though I’ve kept chickens and hatched eggs for some time now
I’m hatching in an incubator at the moment and one of my eggs has a detached air sac that seems stuck in place on the side of the egg, far from the position it should be in... the egg is on day 5 and from my candling it is fertile and developing healthily as it should be. I’ve positioned the egg upside down to allow the air sac to reposition to the accurate place within the egg... though the sac seems quite literally stuck in place... I’ve always struggled to hatch silkies and Faverolles, usually the issue being infertility though this bunch of Faverolles eggs are all fertile and developing well, apart from one... I don’t want to lose this healthy lil guy or gal because of a funny air sac
Any ideas as to what I should do?
