i just bought 2 gqf 1202 that wholes 270 eggs a piece.so i set a test batch. well today is day 8 and i candled them and there was nothing no viens nothing so i sat and keep thinking what went wrong it was the thermomater it was reading about 8 degrees to low so my eggs sat 8 days and it fried them. i set eggs every week you would think i would know better but nnnoooooooo.stupid stupid stupid .lost 36 eggs.

We have all been there chickencrazy. I set over 100 a few years ago in the beginning of the season without replacing thermometer batteries. Like you my temps where 9 degrees out. Changed batteries and the next batch was fine.
