For the past few years snakes have managed to get my pair of black shoulder peafowl eggs. I only have one pair and my male is getting up there in years, and I wanted to make sure I had a backup should he go to that large Peafowl farm in the sky. So, this year I practically lived in their pen with them and snatched up each of the 4 eggs produced from my young hen as soon as they were laid.

One hatched out beautifully in my little styrofoam incubator.

It has been raised in the house, and that was fine until it started getting big. Now, I am not sure what to do with it. Can it go back into the pen with mom and dad, or will they hurt it?

I don't have Peafowl, but I would introduce to your current ones same as I would do with chickens. See but no touch, in run area, with a netting divider. Observe how things go, and then decide when to let the whole group be as one.

Thank you so much for this reply which I am just now seeing. I put my little guy in a small pen that he was used to, then inside another pen where the mom was. Eventually let them be together and all went well.

Again, thank you for replying.

If you put it back in the pen they will attack it.
Thank you for that info. I was afraid of that so I put him in a small crate that he was used to sleeping in, and put that into the larger pen where his mom was kept. Eventually let them be together. Thank you for replying. I had given up and stopped checking - sorry.
