hens in the coop on the perches last night, and today one was dead on the ground still a little warm but rigid - it hit 32 degrees last night, no wounds or marks on her, and had no signs of illness, laying eating, weight good. she was a dominique just 2 years old.
any ideas? can mareks just cause sudden death?

I'm sorry, I don't know what happened to your bird. I do know it probibly wasn't Mareks. Mareks tends to effect the wings or legs first so their would have been earlier symptoms. I am not positive about this, I am definitely not an expert! Good luck!
