I dont know how this could be explained but im hoping some of you might be able to shed some light on the situation, to maybe help the others if its anything serious,
On saturday i bought 2 7 weeks olds, Both seemed fine and healthy since i got them. Yes one was a little less feathered than the other but other than that they were both lively and eating drinking and pooing ok,
This morning I went out and the cockerel (the naked one) was on its very last legs and had lost all its weight overnight, There was no way it could have been revived so unfortunately had to be put out of its suffering,
I dont have a clue why this has happened and i am devastated as the cockerel was the reason i bought the pair
I just hope that its nothing that my hen or the others can catch. They have been in quarantine and the hen still is just to be safe
