sudden death?

two out of our 9 chicks have died in two days and it just hits them...one minute they are fine and then 2 hours later they just die. they have clean water and medicated food and grit..any ideas whats going on or what we can do we dont want to lose anymore!

I would be looking at the brooder temps as free_loader suggested. That seems the likely culprit.

A certain number of chicks will die anyway even in optimal conditions. Failure to thrive and hidden defects. Not much you can do about those.

I wold also check brooder temps, maybe they are huddling and the poor bottom chick, though healthy is smothered. Also, eliminate any square corners in your brooder box, it will help prevent a trapped chick.
