Suddenly stopped laying

All 8 of my hens stopped laying on the same day. What would cause this? We have been getting 6-8 eggs consistently, and for the last 3 days, there have been zero. They aren’t laying in a new location; I’ve looked all around the coop and run

My guess would be some sort of disturbance. Loud noises, New people, a predator sniffing around, running out of water, different feed, just to name a few potential causes.

That was my thinking too. I doubt it was a predator, we’ve never seen any signs of them, and they aren’t acting distressed at all. We did have a large snow storm (12+ inches) followed by pretty extreme rainfall. Maybe the sudden change in weather threw them off.

Weather changes can cause halts, I generally see them after we get a temperature rise or fall. If it is they should pick up production again in a week or two.
