Starting with the beautiful pedigree of Blue Boy, Suede came in the picture.

Now starting with Suede, how many of you have his offsprings and grandsons and granddaughters and great grandoffsprings?

Aw, thanks Robin! Well, here is Suede to start this off, but his daddy, Blue Boy, is where he gets all his charm.

I know Suede has many children around BYC.

I still own Suede's daughter, Delilah, though she isn't in the breeding program.

Delilah's half-sister, Glenda, has a Buff Brahma mother.

Dang, Speckled. I know this has been said by many before me, but he is GORGEOUS! What a fine boy.

Yes, we have to drool all over him! And I am hoping some of his sons would look like him! SpeckledHen's daughters all look like Suede too!

Suede is over two and a half years old now and isn't as blue as he used to be. The sun has made him brassy in the hackles and faded the darker blue a bit, but he's such a good boy. I know Buster has a black son of Suede that he loves, Diesel, who inherited his daddy's good nature.

I was thinking the same thing, Ewesheep. Those girls do look like their daddy. Beautiful girls too!

Yes, Suede is a Blue Orpington and has three blue ladies with him. Well, two since Dusty is broody... for the second time in three months.

He is a sweetie, follows me all over, comes when I call. He's just an angel boy. We adore that guy.

I still need to get pics of my girls. But this is Suades boy. You can see his size.

Unfortunately he didn't have his dads personality.

Needless to say he got evicted from the protected coop and put into the pasture with the goats and pigs. That night a fox or coyote got him. There were 4 other roos that had been there for many months.

Oh, dear, Crystal! Sorry he wasn't as sweet as his daddy. Apparently, he wasn't light enough on his feet to evade the predators, either! Man, what a huge boy, though!

oh wow... I didn't realize Buster's blue orp came from you speckled.

In that case I hatched out 2 blue orps what was it? In the end of April this year. They are both female and one is so dark it looks black and one is light blue. They look magnificent.
