Suggestions for modifications to LG incubator for better hatch?

Im getting an LG incubator tomorrow and plan on getting a computer fan to put in it. Are their any other modifications I can do to up the chances of having a more successful hatch?

Get a knob like you'd use for a dimmer light switch and put it on the thermostat adjuster, it makes it much easier to slightly adjust the temperature. If your computer fan blows to the side, then no problem. If it blows straight down you'll have to flip it or otherwise rig it so it's not blowing directly on the eggs.

i would get the egg turner for it. i have heard the fan can make it tuff to keep the temp regulated.good luck we do enjoy our l.g

I agree about adding the knob. Sometimes you can use one off of an old radio that you might find "laying around".

I would recommend using an egg-turner also.

Ok, are we talking about just taking the knob off of something and replacing the one on the incubator with it? Because I can so do that.

All of eggs are to one side in the turner, so not sure if that will matter.

You don't use the dimmer switch, you use the knob that goes on the switch. Just slip it over the adjuster for the thermostat.

The fan should blow up but if you got a fan that blows to the side that's okay. That's what kind I got for mine when I had it.
