We can tell.......it's in their eyes

Our 11 day old Sulmtaler chicks are thick as thieves, and always seem to rapidly disperse whenever we pop in to see them.
They must be up to something.
Despite reading that they were a docile and sedentary breed, they can be rather sprightly when they choose to be, and don't seem to be as friendly as the Polish chicks we recently hatched (although lovely all the same).
Yesterday they did open up a bit, and there is the feeling that Anglo-Sulmtaler relations have taken a step forward. All 5 are now happy to perch, preen, and poo on you, before finally settling down and having a little snooze.
