I really hate waiting lol. But I’m the end I’ll be happy with them they are SUPER docile and love to be with us. If I end up with some I can breed from and play around with genetics (something I truly enjoy) I’ll be satisfied. Thank you all for your help and when they get older I’ll definitely get clearer photos……I’m gonna try to mix them with me EE and see what I get!!! I’ll definitely post more photos when they are bigger….also the pen we just built and the renters before us left a mess we are still working on things so overlook the mess for now !!! This is why I love this site!In the Sumatra groups on FB, people say you really can't tell until they're at least 3 months of age, or older. Sumatra are one of the hardest breeds to sex.
If we were to try to guess, we'd really need super clear photos of specific areas like the saddle and hackle feathers. Telling the shape of feathers on dark birds needs a lot of clarity from the photos, you may not be able to get that with your camera.
