Sunburn hen backs

Hi, so I have four Easter egg or chickens that my Rooster just continues to meet with I have 40 hens in all, but this Rooster keeps meeting with these four chickens and their backs are completely bald even their wings at the top. I wasn't too concerned, but now they are getting sunburned terribly, is it bad or can you put sunblock on the naked skin of a hen? I have taken the Rooster to the train station! So hopefully the problem will resolve itself. But in the meantime, I've got four bald backed chickens who are turning very red.

They should be okay. They can get red with exposed skin, but I never had a problem with it. Glad you removed the rooster. That will help, and they should grow back their feathers sometime in the next few months.

You can put chicken saddles on them to prevent sunburn. Some of my birds are in an early molt, new feathers will eventually grow in.
When your birds go into molt, it would be best to remove the saddles, if you decide to use them.
