Sunburn treatment

Area without feathers is starting to get a bit sunburned. Has anyone used Aloe gel on chickens? I want to do something to help her/help soothe the area but want to be sure there will be no bad reactions to whatever I apply.

I can't imagine that aloe would hurt them... unless the other chickens decide they want a taste of that.
