Is there anything, other than Aloe Vera that will help soothe a sunburn? I look like a freakin' lobster...

Yep. I also take a cool (wet) kitchen towel (or regular towel if it's a big area) and put it on it to draw out some of the heat. The towel will get warm VERY quickly, go rewet it with cool water and repeat. Take some ibuprofen or something so it's got time to kick in before you try to sleep.

Vinegar is *supposed* to take the sting out. It hurts bad!

The noxzema is a temporary fix. Take some anti-inflammatory meds (such as ibuprofen).

Thank you for that helpful information Steve. I'll think of you the next time I wind up with red painful patches of burned skin.

I've got the Noxema, so I'll use that for now. Can someone tell me why it doesn't "heal" it? I'll be getting Aloe tonight also.

Soooooooooooooo glad to be able to help, but the sunscreen just doesn't have the drama involved. And thank you for thinking of me., i'm touched.

I can tell you from experience that expired sunscreen will burn you like you buttered yourself up and hung your butt on a spit.
