I have soaked some sunflowers in water for 12 hours in view to sprout now I am rinsing 2 times a day but at the soak I used boiling water is this ok or should I start again

Probably want to start over. Should be room temp water.

Are you using whole sunflowers or the seeds?
No boiling water, that can kill the sprouts.
