I've had my garden in the same spot for 22years, and the woods behind it have grown up and now the garden only gets about 5-6 hours of sunlight each day. I have another spot away from the garden that I park my boat in when I'm not using it,and under it was bare ground so I moved some tomato plants into that spot and they have doubled in size in the week that they have been there.Sunlight there is about 10-12 hours. I'm going to till up a new garden spot before winter and get some horse sh*t in it and use that next year.
