Super bully

Google the peepers online, they usually aren't at farm stores. I have seen them at TSC occasionally, though. Check locally first!

Awesome I will check tractor supply later today.
I have a hen that has the attitude of a rooster.....
I want to kill it but my husband says no because she is a good egg layer.:barnie

In the past I found production reds and hatchery RIRs to often be nasty feather picking flock members, and no longer have them in my mixed flock.
Good to know, as I have a hatchery RIR growing up with a couple of barred rocks. They are all people trained, but the RIR is the last to come running when I come near. She stands behind the other two until I reach for her. She is also more vocal when I do pick her up. I will handle her more. The other two don't take any crap from her, they hold their own.

Where can you buy the pinless peepers?
I got them on Ebay. It was about $5 for 6 of them, it included shipping. And you get your choice of colors. It helps to have 2 people to put them on. You soak in very hot water to make them flexible and you don't need a tool.
