Its my first winter for my 2 Pekins and 3 Muscovy ladies. The next week or so will be bitter cold with temps in the teens for highs and below 0 for night temps. They have a large house full of straw (they always have access) with food and water but will only go in at night. Its like they don't realize they can go in during the day. Anyways, Im concerned with them during the day on those super cold days, is it best to keep them in the house or will they eventually go in if they get cold enough?

Wind is the worst for Ducks.......If you have the wind blocked off?, they do fine.....Straw down for their feet to be off the cold ground....They huddle into the straw....Ducks do not go in like Chickens do......

Cheers!.

Thanks so much! We built them a wind shelter and lined it with straw. Hoping they use it!
