Angela, you'll love the Silver Marans, I have 2 that I hatched from Robins eggs and they are lively fluffy and as gentle as they can be. I did a test hatch for her she sent 3 eggs all 3 grew and pipped 2 hatched but sadly the third egg while I was gone got the end slipped into another shell and smothered the 3rd chick. Here is a pic of the 2 I hatched.
