Super long nails on Turkey

We traded a friend some chickens for her hen turkey. The turkey seems healthy other than her nails are so long they are curled bad and inhibiting her ability to walk easily. I have never trimmed or cut a chickens nails let alone a turkey. How would I go about doing it? Can I cut them with one clip or do I need to trim them back a little at a time?

If they're caked in dirt clean it off so that you can see the quick. And carefully trim a little at a time. If the quick is really long just trim up to it, and wait a few weeks-the quick will have receded and you'll be able to trim the nails more. If they bleed dip the nail in cornstarch or if you don't have that, flour

Great! I wasn't sure if chicken/turkey quicks grew similar to dogs/cats or not. Thanks a bunch hopefully she don't put up much of a fight lol
