I live close to a processing plant, and every time I see one of those trucks packed to the max with all them dirty chickens, I cringe, it is horrible!

Nothing new there....either with the space allotted or the way the company treats the growers.
There's other videos out there explaining this.

It's pretty horrible. Battery chickens often don't even have enough room to stretch out their wings. Heartbreaking really.

99% of any animal based foods you buy in the grocery store are kept in very similar situations.

Battery hens are allowed space equal to 2/3 of an A4 piece of paper and broilers? I've read and seen enough footage to haunt me for the rest of my life. Take it as another VERY good reason to keep your own flock of hens, eat "happy" eggs and encourage others who can to keep their own flocks.

Home grown chicken and eggs is healthier too!

We live by hog confinements and feed lots. The smell alone is enough to make you sick. We decided that we would no longer eat meat unless we could raise it. So this year we have a steer,2 pigs we are raising to butcher and chickens. We can't wait for the pigs to get big enough since we haven't had pork for about 6 months.
