Supplementing with clove spice

Hi All,

This has probably been asked, but when I search I find a whole lot of discussion about garlic cloves. I'm interested in the spice Clove. Has anyone used this as a supplement for their chickens? If so for what benefits? Also do you grind it and add to the feed? I have seen some websites talk about clove oil but I am hoping to keep it simple, crush a few cloves, add it to feed occassionally...yes? No? TIA

I used to take minced garlic from a jar and add it to my chickens’ water.I also used apple cider vinegar.

No benefits at all and could cause respiratory issues and irritate your birds. Absolutely do not give them clove or garlic cloves.
