Hi all,
one of my girls seems to be having a harder juvenile molt than the rest. Whilst 3 of them seem to have gotten away lightly and had a mini molt, one seems to be hit quite hard and has lost her tail feathers and the feather at the tops of her legs seem to be getting sparser.
I have changed the bedding (added DE), checked for lice, mites and even bullying to be on the safe side and nothing observed. She is reaching maturity, eating, pooping well and still a vocal madam.
is there anything I supplement her with to support her molt? I don't want her getting cold as the temperature continue to dip and to help her grow her new winter feathers.
thank you x
