I am an expert by no means...but the chick looks VERY similar to my Australorps... So I am going with Lorp for momma and humm....not sure because of the feather-legs for dad

I'll check out the comb type as soon as mama lets me! There are now 5 chicks under her - the 3 surprises and a couple of babies out of my Welp chicks I received this morning. Thanks for all your great input!
