How do I keep the flies away from her? I have cut off all the feathers around her vent and put Abrah salve on her wound, which is once again bleeding.... her sisters are putting her, but I know if these are her last days, she would probably prefer to be with them to be alone in her infirmary...please help

So first you've got to really clean the wound well and make sure all the maggots and eggs are OUT. Like soap and water or Betadyne and scrub well. Then pat dry, and hair dryer on low. Cover with Neosporin and bandage if possible, put in isolation cage.

If this is what you did before and are still having issues, get the wound clean and dry, and then use Pine tar. There's an article about it. Messy, but totally works and will keep the flies out. One application, then the chicken heals on her own with no further care from you.

It will be difficult to keep flies off her outside with poop on the feathers and an open wound/skin like that.

I agree, she would likely love to stay with her flock, that's where she will be most happy, but it sounds like the others are picking at her butt, this will create wounds that will need to be treated. She needs protection and healing first.

Keep her inside until she heals. Clean the wounds with chlorhexidine, then apply triple antibiotic ointment. You'll also want to probably clean up any soiled feathers daily as well.
