I have a full grown Sussex rooster with large wattles. It is very cold here right now and today as I was applying ointment to my chickens combs and wattles I noticed my largest Rooster has very Swollen and Fluid filled Wattles and is walking around with his mouth open (probably because they are super heavy) There is a little bit of black color on the wattle skin. Help! What is this and what should I do? He is eating, and drinking fine, doesn't have any foamy or bubble eye or bad respiratory sounds.
