Svart höna?

Hello I bought 6 hona chicks from a lady this spring. They look like hona but I noticed a few things I am unsure of. 2 hens have very small pea combs and the other 3 are normal. Also my rooster was killed by a dog and I noticed his meat and organs are not black! He had a black comb and looked like a hona to me. What are your thoughts? Did I get ripped off?

I suppose its possible. Pics could be helpful; at least of your living flock.

From my understanding swedish black hens should be black inside and out. The rooster had white skin, meat and organs.

It's very easy for that to happen. You have to be very strict in breeding to maintain quality birds. Most likely these are svart honas, they are just lesser quality.
