I bought 2 svarthona chicks and was sent 7. I love them, they are 14 weeks old now but one has a different comb then all the others. The others (5 hens 1 rooster) have single combs. This one has more of a pea comb. Is this something that sometimes happens and would be culled before breeding further? Or are my svarthonas just mutts. Also is it pullet or cockerel.

I can get better pics if these do not work

It's a rooster.
Don't know anything about that breed so can't help you with the other question.

Cockerel. I don't know much about the breed so I'm not sure if they're pure or not. Comb could be caused by being mixed or could just be a defect.
yea. all the others have single combs- and everything else on the others seems breed standard from the information i find (there does not seem to be a lot). I think maybe just a defect.
