Does anyone have any experience with them? The blues are so beautiful and the blacks are quite different. I was thinking about ordering a couple. They are so expensive, I decided to ask if anyone has had them, or currently has them? Temperament? Heat/cold tolerance? Good layers? Any insight is welcome. Thanks!

I had had 3 Swedish ducks, until a raccoon got hold of 2 of them, but the last one I had named me.mcgee, he was the nicest duck I had ever met, he later got killed by a raccoon:( now I have a male and female black and blue duckling, great ducks!....the raccoon is now forever asleep

Oh my goodness! I'm so sorry to hear that! My heart would be broken. 😔
I was actually talking about Swedish Blue & Black chickens. They are beautiful but rare.

I'm not looking for the ducks. I'm looking for Swedish blue & black chickens. Our local feed store only stocks ducks once and that was this morning. They opened at 8am and we were in line. We brought home 10 ducklings ourselves and there were less than a dozen left. Our tractor supply only stocks perkins, rouen & mallards.
