Swedish Flower Hens Crested vs Non-Crested

Was wondering if the crested gene is lethal if breeding both crested hen with a crested rooster?

I don't believe it's a lethal gene. If breeding two crested together you give the offspring a giant crest which can prove lethal because it will obscure there view making them more likely to get eaten by a predator.
