Has anyone used the sweet heater for keeping the coop warm in the winter?

I am using an overhead 40 inch sweeter heater for my silkies since they sleep in a pile on the floor of my run. They won't go in their small coop inside my 20 x10 ft run. They do use it. You do have to hang no more than 20 inches from ground for full benefit. My only problem is that I have roosters and hens separated by gate and they are sharing 1 heater. My gate is 3 ft high which prevents 1 side from direct warmth. Thinking about another to hang next to my other. Wish they made them a bit deeper. It is on a 12 gauge extension cord.
