I have a beautiful salmon faverolle rooster that I, unfortunately, need to find a new home for. His name is Elvis, born 5/1/21 so at the time of this posting he is approximately 16 weeks old.
This spring I ended up with two surprise boys. I live in a town in New Mexico which has a rooster ban but I was hopeful that I could find a way to make it work. The anti-crow collar has worked great on the other rooster but not as well on Elvis and I know it’s just a matter of time before a neighbor reports me. Even more of a concern than the crowing, is the fact that I only have 11 girls and it’s become clear in the last few weeks that I can only keep one rooster.
Elvis was hand raised so he’s very easy to handle. He’s sweet, has a great personality, very playful, loves to talk and can be quite entertaining at times.
This has been a very hard decision, but I need to do what is best for him and the others and so he is able to have a happy and healthy life, be loved and free to crow!
