Swimteam and Swimmer's thread!

I wasn't really sure what category to put this in, so I just figured games, jokes, and fun! I am on my school's swimteam, I love swimming and I didn't see any other "swim" thread. I thought it's time for the swimmers of BYC to unite! Any other swimmers out there??

If you enjoy swimming (even if you don't swim competitively!) post here!

I love the water...maybe that's why I love my ducks so much. We have that in common! I also love the rain. lol. I haven't done any backflips in the pool this year, but its the first year I havent. I got pretty good at diving, back dives, flips, and even mastered a half gainer and a full gainer. Had some scary times too. Doing a swan dive while cliff diving and got caught in a gust of wind, made my entry at a very slight angle which felt like it snapped my back in two. arrgh. but I lived. lol Also love boogie boarding at the ocean. But wish I'd never seen the movie Jaws...

Awesome! I wasn't really ever into competitive swimming until this year. I took lessons when i was younger so I could swim but I always preferred a mask. Some of my friends are on swimteam so i joined this year! I'm not great, but I enjoy it a lot and that's all that really matters! Also, I don't live near an ocean, so I swim in pools

Jaws creeped me out though!

oh i wanted to be i took gymnastics but am not doing it this year
