Anyone have any problems when they have switched brands of layer feed? Currently I feed Nutrena naturewise and I was thinking about switching to
Purena Layina. At the present time everyone is laying and I wasn't sure if I would mess them up by switching feed.
Thanks.

I've never had a problem when I've had to buy a different brand of feed. Doesn't seem to bother my birds at all.

My chickens free range most of the day, so switching their pellet food doesn't seem to affect them a whole lot.

The only animals that have ever complained about switching foods were my cats. The female protested the loudest by peeing on my pants

My main coop gets Egg Maker. The breeding pen gets Purina Layena.

No issues but one can poop more or smelly with cheaper product than Purina feed. IMO, that is!
