Switching Feed

My Silkie chicks are 5 days old and I have them on starter feed, I was just wondering when I should switch them to growers pellets and then what age I can safely give them layers (I know it won't be for a while but I want to be prepared), also at what age can I give them treats and what could I give them?

Generally the ages are: Starter 0-8 weeks, Grower 8-20 weeks. Layer after then or when they start to lay. Most manufacturers put some guide lines on starter or grower bags. Treats can be at any age. I like to wait until they are at least a couple of weeks old so they are sure to have the right nutrition for proper growth.
