Switching food - issues to look for

I work south during the week, and bring home from a local in okeechobee , we were using hillandale feeds in Lake Butler for a while last year but they upped prices enough where it wasn’t worth the trip compared to just getting feed at TSC. If we are up that way we will still use them, nothing wrong with the feed, was just convenience on us not making a special trip just for feed.
We mix the scratch with pellets in the mash, and a handful of mealworms.

Update:

Our birds seem to be fine with the new food. It took a day or two I think b/c the new feed has an "herby" smell to it.

It was quite interesting to see what was left in the feed dishes - sometimes the new pellets would be left and sometimes the old crumbles would be left.

Good news is they are all eating fine.
