Switching from Crumbles to Pellets

Ive noticed that there is a lot of wasted feed when feeding crumbles (either by the hens kicking it out of the feeder or the crumbles getting crushed so much that they turn into an unusable powder). I would like to try switching the flock to pellets. How do I go about doing that? Can I just switch right away or do I have to slowly transition them into eating the pellets?

just slowly start adding pellets. maybe like a 2-3 day transition.

Just do it. if you stick with the same brand, it's the same feed just not crumbled.

I'd just finish the bag and immediately switch to pellets. They will eat them when they get hungry. I wish we could get Flock Raiser pellets and I would be set! I love feeding pellets. A lot less waste than crumbles.
