This always had me wondering if I was to Switch a Ringneck dove egg with a Gray Fronted dove egg what will be the outcome?
Would the ringneck dove egg hatch (of course it will) and the step parents/adoptive parents take care of it? ( of course) When it gets big and ready to leave its adoptive parents nest? Would the 1000 of years of domestication still affect the Ringneck dove chick even though it was raised with wild Doves(Gray Fronted dove)?
Would it be able to survive since it was raised by wild doves?
