Swollen abdomen: this worked for me

A few years ago I read a post about ascites in hens. Recently had a bird with that issue. Checked she wasn’t egg bound first. Antibiotics not helpful. Tried Flock Pro Hen Boost. Not the same product as the earlier post but same ingredients. My hen has recovered for now. I understand may not be permanent cure, may recur, but she is not swollen and quite healthy appearing. Am grateful to that woman whose post I never forgot! Want to pass it along

Welcome to BYC. Glad that your hen is doing better. It sounds like the hen boost is a mixture of electrolytes, vitamins, and probiotics.
