Pipped 2 days ago. Zero progress with zipping. Helped by removing hard shell and some white membrane (kept clear membrane intact). Zero blood. He was basically done but...
When he finally pulled the rest of the membrane off by himself, his tummy is bloated and his umbilical cord wasn't closed up. We tied floss so he doesn't bleed out (we gently helped him remove the rest of the shell and membrane- came off easy. That was all that was left).
What's wrong with him and how can I help? Oh, I also saw small bright green stuff on his back).
His chirps are strong and loud.
