swollen chick

I have a sick chick that I just got today. It is about 4 weeks old. It seems to have a lot of subcutaneous fluid in the abdominal, breast and neck areas. It's belly seem much to swollen to be normal. Some of the fluid that i can see under the skin on the belly/breast is dark. I has a droopy tail but it is acting fairly normal. I don't know if it is eating/drinking because I just got it. Any ideas???

see if it will eat and drink and make droppings..
make sure the vent is clear.
