Swollen Crop

I fed an all mushed/crushed up hard boiled egg to my just about 2 week old chicks. A few days ago I fed a scrambled egg with no issues so I did not think a mushed up hard boiled would be bad for them. I now have 7 swollen crop chicks. (I feel horrible) Some worse then others, obviously in the more piggie chicks. They are all acting normally. Should I take away chick feed? Should I try to massage them? Should I feed grit? I actually got some today after reading up about it this morning.

Because it is egg and should dissolve eventually, I think you'll get away with it!

But I agree that they are young for anything but their medicated crumbles.

It might help to moisten the crumbles to assist in digestion.
